Abstract

The investors need financial information before making decisions to invest in stocks using fundamental analysis or technical analysis. With fundamental analysis, investors use the audited financial statements. Investors can also use technical analysis to know the company stock price. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of earnings per share (EPS), book value per share (BVPS), and return on equity (ROE) of on stock prices both partially and simultaneously. This research use a causal hypothesis testing method. The data in this research are taken from LQ45 company’s financial statement 2006-2008. The data are analyzed used Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that partial earnings per share have a significant impact on stock prices partially. Book value per share and return on equity does not have a significant impact on stock prices partially. The results show that simultaneously earnings per share, book value per share, and return on equity has a significant impact on stock prices.
