Abstract
In order to make a decision, investors have to do some analysis so that the investment itself obtain some profit to the investor. Common ways to analyze is to analyze fundamentally or technically. Fundamental analysis shows the nature of the entity, that can be obtain through financial report. There are so many information that can be obtain from there, for example financial ratios. Ratios such as current ratio (CR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) describes how a company to meet short-and long-term liabilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of current ratio (CR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) to stock return either partially or simultaneously. This study used the method of hypothesis testing and processed using multiple regression analysis. The object of this research is entities incorporated in LQ 45 from 2007-2009 period except bank. The results partially show that current ratio (CR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) each had no significant effect on stock returns. While the results of simultaneous research shows that the current ratio (CR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) has a significant influence on stock return.
